Today in class we further answered the question, How is Each Point on Earth Unique. A toponym is a name given to a place on Earth. Site is the physical characteristics of a place including climate, water sources, topography, soil, vegetation, latitude, and elevation. Situation is the location of a place relative to other places. A Region is a unique on Earth defined by one or more distinctive characteristics is a region, spanning political states constrained within one political state. A region derives its undefined character through the cultural landscape- a combination of cultural, religious, physical features.
