Today in class we did something out of the ordinary, we read a packet and highlighted the information we knew instead of taking notes from a powerpoint. The packet was made from the same publishers as the powerpoint we used so most of the information was stuff that we had already known but the packet went into more depth. I personally like taking notes better because it is more engaging for me than highlighting and reading alone. After highlighting all the information from the packet we compared that information to the informational the powerpoint. Everything was the same except for one major mistake. It said the percent of international immigrants was 9% but the packet said 3%.
