Class

Today in class we learned about time we learned that every 15 degrees is assigned a time zone. The point 0 degrees is in Greenwich England and the National Date Line is 180 degrees away from that. Then we got three maps, the mercator map, the Gall Peters, and the Robinson projection. We had to label the five seas Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southren, and Arctic. We also labeled all seven continents Asia, North America, South America, Antarticia, Africa, Australia, and Europe. We also labeled the Prime Meridian, the Tropic of Cancer, the Tropic of Capricorn, the Equator, the National Date Line. It was challenging to find some of these things on certain maps because not all had the longitude and lattitude lines making it hard to find where things were. The most challenging thing was finding John Carroll on a map that has no labels on where anything is it was very tough to put an exact point on one specific place.
