Excellence part 2

Today in class we continued our slideshow on excellence. Here are some things I learned.

•  That humans highest potential is knowledge. 
•  508 B.C. democracy was born.
•   Socrates was a stonemason then went on to become known as a hero in the Peloponnesian War.
• He was a philosopher/teacher. 
• Arete is all human abilities and potential.
•  Agora- a place for important meetings.
• Polis- citizens in charge and have a say in decisions. (Politics).
