According to what we were taught Christianity is the largest religion with 2.2 billion adherents. The CIA World Factbook says that christianity has 31.4% adherents of the whole world. Adherents.com says that Christianity is 33% of the whole world. According to our studies Islam has 1.5 billion adherents but according to adherents.com Islam is 21% of the world and according to the CIA World Factbook Islam is 23.2%. The other religion, Hinduism, has 1.1 billion adherents. The CIA World Factbook Hinduism has 15% and in adherents.com says Hinduism has 14%. The next religion we studied was Buddhism and according to our studies it has 500-1.5 billion adherents. In the World Factbook says that Buddhism is 7.1% and on adherents.com says Buddhism has 6%.
